I'm not going to buy it without trying it.

IF you can't get all skills and professions with a single character and smells like grind spirit, I won't buy it.

Yeah I agree with this statement.

Also Anet is not stupid enough to do that. Higher levels could mean more content if they do it right and don't make all lower level content short. So that would be a good thing.

You guys are just not thinking outside the MMO box, that's all.

Hah! Wont YOU look silly when GW2 turns out to be a yellow shade of mauve!

I look at it this way, GW 2 is going to be GW 1 with tacked on features from other MMO’s. With all the features, we have heard about including swimming, jumping, persistence world system, higher-level cap, and excreta, are features that have been in other past MMO’s.

Nevertheless let’s take the higher GW 2 level-cap for instance, and assume it will have that GW 1 feel to it. For example, in GW 1, you have your PC at level 20 max and the creatures you fight are sometimes level 30+. Which could mean that when you play GW 2 and get to the max level (let’s say level 50) you will be playing against a much higher level creatures then yourselves (probably level 75+). Therefore, the AI will not actually be smarter it will just be more powerful, with some type of godly monster skill.

I just wouldn't believe if Anet just cloned some other mmos. They were never going the same way as others, always wanted to keep it different.

High or better no level cap, persistent explorable areas, full 3d environment are just improvements, they don't mean all the game will be alike the others. They went cheapway with many elements of GW1 to allow the game to have no monthly fees. Now that the technology advanced they are able to offer much more at the same cost. What we will get is a new better GW.

This reminds me of the guild called "World Of Charrcraft [GWII]" that I saw once.

Guild Wars 2: Attack of the Clone(MMO)

As long as there's no monthly fee, and that it continues GW1's business model, I'll play it.

Agreed with others, the low level cap IMO was definitely an improvement over countless other MMO's.

If its as the OP described, I will be drop kicking it and sending it to Anet.
But I'm optimistic and highly doubt that will happen =D
